Milano
Milan, a vibrant metropolis in northern Italy, is a place where the past and contemporary coexist together. Milan is sometimes referred to as the “Fashion Capital of the World,” but its fascination goes far beyond its chic stores and catwalk displays.
The centre of the city is the imposing Duomo di Milano, a gothic wonder that has endured for centuries. Visitors are drawn in by its imposing spires and beautiful marble façade, which from its terraces offers a sweeping perspective of the city. A short distance away, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II epitomises class with its opulent interiors hosting some of the most expensive brands in the world beneath a stunning glass dome.
Milan isn’t only about opulence, though. The picturesque Navigli District’s streets, home to hip canal-side cafés and antique stores, provide a bohemian haven from the city’s bustling centre. Both residents and visitors like the lively environment here as they savour aperitivos as the sun sets.
