Mount Rigi Cable Car
Weggis – Rigi Kaltbad aerial cable car
The Weggis cable car reaches Rigi Kaltbad in just 10 minutes. Visitors can easily get to the Mineral Baths & Spa Rigi Kaltbad or the village square in Rigi Kaltbad when they reach the top station. Visitors with interest in architecture can spend some good time here with the above highlights. Mario Botta, a famous Swiss architect designed both the Mineral Baths and the village square.
Rigi Kaltbad is a departure point for excursions, a stop on the road, a destination and a place to stay all at once. The aerial cable car is directly connected to Rigi Kulm by the cogwheel train.
A large number of hikes take place at Rigi Kaltbad in the city. The simple walk to the Känzeli viewpoint and the 7 km-long walk along the panoramic footpath to Rigi Scheidegg are popular all over the year. Several hotels provide accommodation and food while the Rigi Kaltbad Mineral Baths & Spa also provides wellness treatments.Â
