Oeschinensee Rodelbahn

The Oeschinenesee summer toboggan run is an unforgettable experience for young and old. Over a length of  750 meters  , you will overcome a height difference of around 150 meters at breakneck speed. With a few tight and four really big bends you speed down the 750m onto the conveyor belt and can be comfortably pulled up again.

Children from 3 years of age can use the train accompanied by an adult, from 8 years of age they can also use it alone. For safety reasons, the toboggan run is only open in dry weather. After rainfall, the track is dried and can be used again a few minutes later.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

The toboggan run is only open in dry weather. If possible, the runway is dried and opened after rainfall.

Children from 3 years of age are only allowed to use the train with an accompanying person from 8 years of age.

Children aged 8 and over are allowed to use the runway on their own if they have been familiarized with the runway and have been given responsibility by the person responsible for supervision.

The instructions from the staff must be followed immediately.

Filming with a mobile phone or taking selfies is not permitted while driving.

Gondola lift

Sports equipment (bicycles, etc.) are only transported during the first and last hours of operation.

The restaurants are open during the operating hours of the gondola lift.

With the UNESCO electric vehicle to the Oeschinensee

If you want to make a detour to the Oeschinensee between the toboggan rides, you can comfortably drive to the lake and back in the environmentally friendly electric vehicle.

How to get there

Travel by train to Kandersteg. From Kandersteg train station, you can take the local bus or walk (15 minutes) to the Oeschinensee gondola station. The toboggan run is located near the mountain station.
