Swiss Chocolate Adventure

The Swiss Chocolate Adventure is a multimedia journey that demonstrates how cocoa beans from Ghana are turned into famous Swiss Chocolate. The Swiss Chocolate Adventure explains the discovery, provenance, manufacture and transport of chocolate in only around 20 minutes to visitors who entered into the multimedia journey.

A number of themed islands see, hear, smell and taste that visitors travel around in special praliné-shaped cars appeal to all the senses. Visitors have a chance to taste various creations provided by Lindt’s master chocolatiers after the adventure ride.

First ride
The first ride during the week is at 1 p.m., on week-ends at 11 a.m. (changes every day). Call ahead on 041 375 75 75 or enquire on your arrival.

Minimum age
Minimum recommended age: 6.

Languages
The multimedia show is offered in German, French, Italian, English, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin and Brazilian Portuguese. For visitors with a hearing impairment the show is available in German with an amplified audio output (no subtitles!)

Information for wheelchair users
The Swiss Chocolate Adventure is wheelchair accessible. Using a special vehicle, we can accommodate two wheelchair users per hour, each with an assistant. Up to 80 x 140 cm (width x depth) is available for wheelchairs. The total maximum weight allowance for wheelchair users, wheelchairs and assistants is 500 kg. Wheelchair users able to leave their chairs are welcome to use the standard vehicle.

Tasting at the Maître Chocolatier
Exclusively for visitors of the Swiss Chocolate Adventure: tastings take place daily at 2 and 4 p.m. (summer) and 12, 2 and 4 p.m. (winter) at the Lindt Maître Chocolatier’s workplace. Keep an eye out for the chocolate fountain!
