The Lake Constance attracts many holidaymakers especially in summer with mild climate, several water sport and leisure activities.

The Lake Constance, situated at the tri-point of Germany / Switzerland / Austria, is the third largest lake in Central Europe with a length of 64 km and width of 12 km. Scheduled boat services are running on Lake Constance operated by separate companies from all three neighboring states.

The “white fleet” links the small coastal cities with the lake-side attractions. One of Europe’s most beautiful lake and river cruises begins in Kreuzlingen and continues along the Rhine to Schaffhausen via the Undersee to Stein. Boats from Rorschach set off at the other end of the lake.

Mainau Island with its flower gardens and parks and Reichenau peninsula with its UNESCO-World Heritage-listed monastery are popular cruise destinations to nearby non-Swiss terrain.

Romanshorn is connected with the opposite German lakeshore in Friedrichshafen by a car ferry and a boat harbor in Romanshorn is the largest leisure harbor on Lake Constance.

Lake Constance is a paradise for active visitors, a steadily undulating landscape. This excursion and relaxation area offers various water sports, walking and fitness opportunities especially skating and cycling routes. Lake Constance Cycle Path is a favourite classic, which leads right around the lake.
