Kleine Scheidegg
The Kleine Scheidegg where two cogwheel railways meet is a beautiful mountain pass at an elevation of 2,061 m (6,762 ft), situated below and between the Eiger and Lauberhorn peaks in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.
Here alpine cowhirts, Eiger North Face climbers and visitors from around the globe can rub shoulders. The Eiger trail leads in 1 hour 50 minutes from the Eiger Glacier Station (a 10-minute ride from Kleine Scheidegg) to Alpiglen. It is one of Switzerland’s most impressive hiking tours.
The railway station is the starting point for attractive hikes in summer and for ski and toboggan runs in winter. You can recharge your battery here.
