Männlichen
The Männlichen is known as a vantage point with an excellent view of the three peaks of the Eiger , Mönch and Jungfrau and as a starting point for mountain hikers and skiers. The Männlichen is 2342 m above sea level. From here, guests can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Männlichen has two completely different faces. From the Grindelwald valley, the mountain appears as a gentle, green slope.
After a ten-minute trip, the cable car reaches the Männlichen upper station at 2,229 metres above sea level. Alternatively, a cable car from Grindelwald will get you there in 20 minutes.
Note: A short but rather exposed passage on the Tschuggen flank is secured by a guard rail. Normal hiking gear. End of May to mid-October.
