Schaffhausen - Historically well-preserved City
Schaffhausen, located right next to the shore of the High Rhine is one of the best-preserved towns in northern Switzerland. It is also the capital of the canton of Schaffhausen. Schaffhausen is one of four Swiss towns located on the northern side of the Rhine.
The Rhine & around the river-land area is very attractive place for biking, walking and water sports including boating especially Untersee Lake-Rhine boat trip.

Munot, the ring-shaped fortress built in the 16th century overlooking the Rhine river with elevated cannon emplacements is one of the main tourist attractions. There are many events held to attract the tourists at Schaffhausen’s landmark.
The Haus zum Ritter ,at Vordergasse 65 in Schaffhausen is a town house built in 1492. House of the Knight (Haus zum Ritter) is known for the frescoes by Tobias Stimmer on the facade.Â
