Contra Dam - "GoldenEye" Bungee Jumping
The Contra Dam, is also known as Verzasca Dam under unofficial name and the Locarno Dam as well. It is an arch dam on the Verzasca River in the Val Verzasca of Ticino, Switzerland. The dam’s unique architecture is the main attracted and curious thing for tourists and active recreation enthusiasts. It is very popular among Bungee Jumpers.
Actually, James Bond film GoldenEye made the Verzasca Dam and the bungee jump from it one of the world’s most famous jumps. (GoldenEye is a 1995 spy film, the seventeenth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions). In that movie few agents jump from the Verzasca Dam. Since then, the thousands of the fans of the movie visited there to repeat the leap of the agents.The dam serves as a place for Bunjee Jumping.
The Contra Dam is also known among the fans of the other Indian film – Dhoom 3.

- Age 65 and older need to provide a medical certificate.
Participants with the following health conditions are explicitly excluded:
– Pregnancy
– High blood pressure
– Heart disorders
– Epilepsy
– Musculoskeletal damages
– Neurological disorders
– Inner ear problems
Special terms
- Please arrive at the meeting spot at least 10 min. before your scheduled jump.
- No personal camera will be allowed during the jump for safety reasons.
- Weather conditions can affect your jump.
