St. Cergue Ski Resort
The ski resort St. Cergue is located in the Canton of Waadt, Lemanic Region in Switzerland. Close to Geneva and Lausanne, the St-Cergue region offers many activities in wintertime to discover the pleasures of the snow.
St-Cergue is located right in the centre of the village, less than 200 m away from the village’s ski slopes. Saint-Cergue is located at 1041 m, to the east of the impressive Jura peak of La Dôle. Its situation, high above Lake Geneva, offers wonderful views of the whole alpine chain as far as Mont Blanc.
The atmosphere of Saint-Cergue combines the wide-open spaces of the Vaudois Jura Park, the altitude of La Dôle (1,677 m) and the dynamism of the lakeside town of Nyon. The main attractions of this resort are the peaceful landscape of the Jura and the fresh, scented air of the extensive forests.
More than just Skiing it offers hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, down-hill skiing, the region represents a particularly attractive travel destination in summer and winter. Winter hikers and snow-shoe walkers will find footpaths and trails in this extensive area. Fans of nature, who prefer to practice sports in preserved nature, love the place.Â
