Rigi Ski Resort

The ski resort Rigi from Seebodenalp via Rigi Staffel / Kaltbad to Rigi Scheidegg / Burggeist is located in the Canton of Lucerne and in the Canton of Schwyz , Central Switzerland. 

As soon as the queen of the mountains puts on her winter coat, the environment changes into a winter paradise with snow-covered landscapes and trees wrapped in white. With three family ski areas, Rigi Staffel / Rigi Scheidegg / Burggeist with four ski lifts the traffic-free resort of Rigi, its heavenly peace and clear air, offers an ideal change of scenery for the finest days of the year.

Rigi has 2 pistes with a total length of 9 kilometers (6 miles). There are 14 kilometers (9 miles) of cross country ski trails at Rigi. you can enjoy a total of 20 kilometers of prepared slopes with hardly any waiting times at the ski lifts. Skiing is a tradition there: even when this sport was first introduced on two boards, ski instructors from Norway offered the first lessons across Switzerland on the Rigi.

This place is also ideal for children and beginners to learn to ski and snowboard. The numerous easy to moderately difficult slopes guarantee carefree skiing and snowboarding fun.
