Hiking in Zermatt – Matterhorn Trail

The most dramatic mountain of the Alps, Matterhorn is located at the head of Zermatt. That esily recognized mountain peak is very well-known among climbers in world. The Zermatt -Matterhorn hike offers 400 kilometres of marked hiking trails. 

The Matterhorn trekking starts and ends in Zermatt. The hiking journey takes over 5 days from hut to hut on the Zermatt’s own mountain. Along with you the fantastic view with rare flowers, fresh air and the mountain giants including the Matterhorn with its terrifying north wall.
