Lauterbrunnental Glacial Valley
Lauterbrunnen at the bottom of a U-shaped impressive valley that extends south alps is located in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The Lauterbrunnen Valley or Lauterbrunnental, one of the most beautiful valley in Europe is one of the deepest in the Alpine chain and beautiful with its 72 thundering waterfalls, secluded valleys, green alpine meadows. The valley is very popular among hikers.
Lauterbrunnen with the perfect combo of majestic water and the Alps’ magical charm became a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2001.
The Lauterbrunnen Valley hike, specifically a beginner-friendly walk leads you through Switzerland’s most stunning fresh valley. This hike starts from Lauterbrunnen and ends in Stechelberg.

From Lauterbrunnen town, you can feel and enjoy the signs for the waterfalls. If you need to grab food for the hike, there are plenty of restaurants in town for you, as well as a there are pre-made sandwiches and salads available in Coop supermarket.
