Jungfrau Pass

Let’s start with a summary of the Jungfrau Travel Pass: 

• Free traveling pass for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 consecutive days in the Jungfrau region; 
• You can travel by train, cable car, funicular, bus and boat for free. A few exceptions apply. 
• The Jungfrau Travel Pass is available for 2nd class traveling only. 
• It’s available for traveling from mid-April to mid- or late October. The exact dates vary a bit each year. Please look into the Jungfrau Hiking and Sledging Pass if you will be traveling in the winter. 
• Children travel along at a low fixed price. The Jungfrau train travel pass fits your plans if: 
• you plan to travel extensively in the Jungfrau region only with train pass. You’ll save money as point-to-point tickets are more expensive.
• you want to be flexible: the Jungfrau train travel pass for 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 days allows unlimited free trips without the need to get tickets for each trip.

Junior, Grandchild and Children’s Co-Travelcard and Swiss Family Card not valid. 

• Round trip by cogwheel train from Grindelwald/Wengen or with Eiger Express via Eigergletscher to the Jungfraujoch (more on validity). 
• Enjoy impressive views of the midlands, the Aletsch Glacier and countless four-thousand-meter peaks 
• Discover the Ice Palace, the stopover at the “Eismeer station” or the Sphinx viewing platform, which is easily accessible by lift 
• Restaurant and shops available 
• Trains run every half hour from 6:52 to 18:43 (please take note of the season). Please check the timetables on site 
• There are only adult and children fares available. Travellers who are 16 years and older are considered as adults. 
• Available as print@home ticket / eTicket 
• Travel comfortably by online a seat online in advance for CHF 10.00.

Daily 8AM – 4.20PM 

The last departure to the top will be up till 2:00 PM or 14:00hrs and the last departure from the top to the bottom will be until 4:20 PM or 16:20 hrs/.  

Duration: Please note that you need a minimum of five hours to spend at Jungfraujoch, including your travel time.
