Where the steepest cog railway is - Mount Pilatus

Pilatus, also known as Mount Pilatus, composed of several peaks lies overlooking Lucerne in Central Switzerland. The highest is named is named Tomlishorn (2,128.5 m (6,983 ft)). Visitors are practically flying up to Pilatus with the new aerial cableway Dragon Ride. A cableway from Fräkmüntegg Intermediate Station (1416 meters above sea level) takes just 3.5 minutes to Pilatus (2073 meters above sea level). The cableway provides a spectacular view of Lucerne and the lake with its spacious seating, a cockpit-like structure and wide windows.
